Hello everyone, I have a question.
my antivirus which came with my computer is about to expire now, should I purchase the renewal of Norton or a free antivirus would be ok? Thank you. Andrei Miroslav

"also with Linus when u get it do u have 2 format your pc with it or can u run it sideby side or like a program.
cheers" Hi Gin-fox, this can be quite tricky, you can have a dual boot machine, you could also download and run vmware player and install it on a virtual machine but the you will need a ready made virtual machine or you could download MS virtual pc but again you will need to adjust the graphic depth, if you are keen to give it a go, please follow this link: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToConfigureUbuntuForMicrosoftVirtualPC2004 Thank you.

Hello Mark,
Probably your connection is set to dial your default connection. Please go to control panel and open network connections, then select the tab for connections and make sure you have selected "never dial a connection" this assuming you are using a broadband connection. Hope this helps.

Hello Graff,
Welcome to you to Pcshouts, at pcshouts lab we did not test the undergroundsatellite software, the add looks a bit suspicious; as rule of thumb, we do not pass our cards details without having tried the program first. We have found something for you to try, is called Online TV Player and can be downloaded at the following web address: http://www.download.com/3001-2139_4-10702775.html give it a go and let us know what do you think or, if you feel like, you could write a review of the program once you have tried it ;-)
Thank you,
Pcshouts.

RE: Help please

Hi there
in case of an overfull inbox or corrupt folder file (as in this case), compacting all folders could help as well.
Please first make a copy of all the files & folders found in C:\Documents and Settings\(User)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{GIU}\Microsoft\Outlook\ and save it to another location, e.G.: create a new folder under My Documents and paste the files there.
If Outlook Express is still starting up, please go to File -> Folder -> Compact all Folders
This migth take a while, and Outlook might appear to have crashed, but please be patient and do not cancel this process.
After this is completed please try to download files again, if the error still occurs and you can still access the inbox you would need to follow the steps above.
If you have emails in your inbox you would like to retain you can try the following trick:
Create a new folder in your inbox called "mails"
Move all emails from your inbox to "mails" by dragging them into this folder.
To get the exact location of the inbox you can check here :
Tools" -> "Options" -> "Maintenance" tab -> "Store Folder"
and close Outlook before you go on.
Delete or rename the current inbox.dbx as above and reopend Outlook. Now can move all emails back into the inbox
Enjoy! :-)
