Hello,no question is stupid, first of all, which flavour of linux are you using? with program linux, do you mean compile the whole operating system? or you just need to add new programs? Thanks. Amarok. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

i mean compile the whole operating system cheeres and i don't have a version of linux but i thinkin about gettin it so i just want to look into it, if u know what i mean. and with programming i'm new to it but i am doing an applied ICT GCSE and i'm interested in this sorta stuff.

For the time being we do not have a full tutorial about making your own Linux distro, but you can have a look at http://www.linuxfromscratch.org which is quite simple to follow :-) hope this helps. also with Linus when u get it do u have 2 format your pc with it or can u run it sideby side or like a program.
